About the Tour
A truly Scottish journey through some of the most majestic sceneries in the Highlands of Scotland. Our main destination is Oban, the most picturesque town in the Highlands known as the 'Seafood Capital of Scotland' and famous for its Whiskey Distillery and the impressive McCaig's Tower. There is a lot to see and to do in Oban including attractions such as the historic Dunollie Castle, Oban Whiskey Distillery, the Chocolate Factory/Shop, St Columba's Cathedral and McCaig's Tower, a Colosseum look alike situated uphill that offers spectacular and panoramic views overlooking the town, the harbour and its surrounding islands. This adventurous tour also includes visiting the beautiful Scottish town of Inveraray, a chance to see Inveraray Castle filmed in 'Downtown Abbey' and to enjoy walk along the peaceful and beautiful Loch Fyne where Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid) married his love! On this fantastic Day Trip, we will also visit Glen Croe and 'Rest and Be Thankful' offerign breathtaking panoramic views you will never forget.
